Why The Frog Has Four Toes

A little over a year ago, one of my sons developed a small, hard red spot on one of his toes.

As parents, we didn't think much of it at first. Kids get bumps, bruises, scrapes, and all kinds of weird things. But this one didn't go away.

Eventually, we took him to a specialist. After testing, the doctors believed an infection had reached the bone. When that happens, they don't take chances. We were told the toe needed to be amputated.

And just like that, my kid had four toes.

I created a badass frog with four toes.

It was our way of taking something difficult and turning it into something different. Something fun. Something with a little attitude.

That was more than a year ago. Life moved on, and honestly, I didn't think much more about that frog.

Then last month, everything changed again.

My son's platelet counts crashed. Things became serious enough that he was flown to a children's hospital.

And somewhere in the middle of all of that, the four-toed frog suddenly meant something very different to me.

Yes, there's a play on words. Four toes. Four letters. 4–8–12. 4(OURTUNE).

But the fortune LPPE is searching for isn't simply money.

The real 4(OURTUNE) is strength. It's the strength of a kid who gets knocked down and keeps going. It's the strength of a family standing together when life suddenly gets scary. And it's the strength of a community of people who may start as complete strangers but decide to build something together.

Of course, we're crypto. We'd all love to make a fortune along the way. But if LPPE becomes something meaningful, I want it to represent more than a number on a chart.

There are thousands of frogs in crypto. There's only one LPPE.

Because those four toes aren't an art mistake. They aren't an AI mistake. They aren't something we invented afterward to create a narrative.

They're the reason the frog exists.

Behind LPPE is a real kid, a real family, and a reminder that sometimes the things we think we've lost become part of the story that makes us who we are.
